Courtney graduated from the University of Guelph in 2012 with a BA Honours in English Language and Literature and a minor in Classical Studies. During her time at Guelph, Courtney became involved with several different organizations throughout the University and Guelph community including; The University of Guelph Wellness Centre, Peer Helper Program, Interhall Council and Homewood Health Centre. Courtney also acted as a campus tour guide, Student Life recruiter and Orientation Week volunteer and continues to volunteer as a Forever a Gryphon Ambassador.
After leaving the University of Guelph, Courtney earned her graduate certificate in Public Relations from Niagara College. She currently works as a Public Relations Coordinator for Enterprise Canada, a leading strategic communications, public relations and government relations firm with a national reputation for delivering results. Courtney also serves as a gennext Cabinet Member for United Way of St. Catharines & District where she works with a team of young professionals to increase engagement and understanding of United Way of St. Catharines & District through community outreach.
In 2015 Courtney was named one of PR in Canada's Top 30 under 30 for her work in the Public Relations and communications industry.
Courtney currently resides in the Niagara Region.
