Katelin graduated from the University of Guelph in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Marketing Management Co-op. During her time at Guelph, Katelin competed with the Varsity Field Hockey team from 2009-2011 representing the University of Guelph provincially and nationally. She also became involved with several different organizations throughout her time at university including: Students Offering Support, AIESEC, JDCC, CBASE, and was a University of Guelph student ambassador. Throughout her undergrad she completed co-op placements at Research in Motion, Kenna, and PepsiCo Foods Canada leading her to a full time position within Marketing at PepsiCo.
Since graduating, Katelin has been building her marketing career at PepsiCo, a Tier 1 CPG organization and manufacturer of many Canadian loved brands. She began her career within shopper marketing building portfolio programs with the largest grocery retailer in Canada. She then progressed to brand marketing on the Quaker brand leading the charge for the Quaker Chewy granola bar business. Katelin currently holds the position of Marketing Manager on the Lay’s and Variety Packs businesses leading the successful launch of Lay’s Poppables and the Variety Pack portfolio re-launch into Canada.
Katelin is passionate about female empowerment and also serves on the PepsiCo’s Women’s Inclusion Network Board of Directors leading the engagement team. In addition to this, Katelin volunteers as a student mentor to University of Guelph students.
Katelin lives in Guelph with her husband Matt and their adorable Border Retriever Stanley.
